Welcome to The Homestead, a charming property consisting of the Main House and the Carriage House. It is located in the Historic District providing a wonderful glimpse into Fredericksburg’s bygone era. The Homestead, a beautifully styled home originally built in the 1880’s and completely renovated in 2020, consists of stunning and tasteful details, an open concept, exposed stone walls,12 foot ceilings, and multiple outdoor spaces with fire pits. The Main House and Carriage House have separate entrances yet are connected by a stone wall making it ideal for large groups, family reunions, or friend gatherings. Located just one block from Main Street and two blocks from the Marktplatz, you will enjoy being only a short walk from downtown shops and restaurants.
The Main House is private and has four bedrooms (two king beds, one queen bed, and two twin beds), three bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room. Additionally, this house has a stunning wine cellar perfect for an evening wine tasting. The Carriage House is also completely private and consists of three bedrooms (two king beds and two twin beds), two bathrooms, kitchen, dining space, and living room. Additionally, the Carriage House is accessible. Combined, the Homestead’s Main and Carriage homes can sleep 14 people comfortably (plus airbeds upon request). Off-street, driveway parking accommodates five vehicles with plenty of additional on-street parking.
