New Cabin!! The adorable Albert Cabin was once a hunting cabin from a time gone by. With romance in mind, it was creatively reimagined and restored as a charming venue for couples who are looking for a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. Although the Albert Cabin’s design is fashioned towards ambiance, its artsy kitchenette and outdoor grill allow couples to easily prepare a romantic meal and its private wrap-around deck afford guests the type of pastoral views that famous paintings are made from!
The Albert Cabin is complemented with a refrigerator, large industrial sink, cutting surface, coffee maker, two-burner hot plate, toaster, multiple basic kitchen utensils, along with a generous array of glassware, dishes, and cutlery. It is sure to delight its most discerning guests, with no expense being spared in terms of decor and attention to detail. Relax indoors on the incomparable California King bed or lounge in the sitting area on sumptuous leather chairs. When the evening calls, sit in the comfortable Adirondack chairs out on the grand, L-shaped deck. Listen to the music drift over from the Albert Icehouse and Dancehall as you enjoy your favorite beverage.
Then, at the end of the night, when bedtime beckons, the Albert Cabin’s bedroom offers hotel-quality luxurious bedding and the latest in mattress technology that provides an exceptional night of restorative sleep. Lay your head back and let yourself drift off to sleep, in preparation for yet another great day in Texas Wine Country!
At Cozi Vacation Rentals, we take your health and safety very seriously, and it is and will always be our top priority. All of our rentals are being cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards after every stay with our cleaning service, Cozi Cleaning Company. All of our licensed, insured, 5-star trained cleaning team members are wearing masks, gloves and are disinfecting/sanitizing each home after each stay.
We are following all of the CDC guidelines, and we are proud members of the Texas Hotel and Lodging Association and the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA), where we are closely monitoring and following all of their guidance for cleanliness and guest safety precautions. Now more about the amenities and space of this lovely and luxurious home.
*In lieu of a damage security deposit, where most companies charge over $500, and where you as the guest risk these companies not returning your damage deposit, Cozi does it differently by charging a one-time non-refundable $49 fee which provides up to $5000 of coverage towards unintentional rental property damages (subject to plan terms and conditions) that could occur during you and your guests stay. Plan terms and conditions will be provided to all guest reservations after the time of booking. Any charges owed by Guest may be charged by Cozi to Guest’s card on file in addition to seeking any relief provided by law.

Run--don't walk--to this gem of a getaway!

My wife and I chose this gorgeous cabin for a romantic weekend in the Hill Country, and it greatly exceeded our expectations!
Aesthetically, it was a wonderful contrast of beloved antiques and ultramodern conveniences. It's obvious the owners put a lot of thought and effort into making it beautiful. The VRBO photos, though pretty, really don't do it justice.
The furniture was comfortable, and the bed brought my best sleep in ages. The double shower was a great convenience--no waiting in line!
Although I didn't do any cooking, I could see the kitchenette was well-equipped. With the double hot plate and the utensils provided, I would have been able to make most anything from among my favorite recipes.
The location has a lot going for it as well. Our favorite wineries (Pedernales Cellars, Adega Vinho, and Cicada Cellars) are just a couple of miles away in Stonewall, and of course there are LOTS of wineries lining the highway into Fredericksburg (more than 50 in the area!). The LBJ State Park and Sauer-Beckmann living history farm are equally close. Should you happen to want to "get back to the basics of love," Luckenbach, Texas is less than 15 miles away down scenic country roads.
Closer at hand--just across the road--is Albert, Texas, itself home to a dance hall and an ice house ("bar" would be a proper designation for the latter). That's great night life within walking distance!
I could go on and on, but then I'd be keeping you from booking this little bit of Hill Country paradise!

Great location! The space was so comfy and nice. We loved being close to the Albert dancehall (walk across the street) and soooo sooo many wineries within about 2 miles distance. We recommend Ab Astris winery, which is right by LBJ park. It was beautiful and delicious!

This is the place to stay! I am telling you. The Albert ice house is right across the way and you will never meet a nicer group of locals! The place is minimal in a good way. No TV, cell service is iffy, wifi is a little iffy as well (thank you giant storm). However, we went to unplug for a couples weekend and we got just what we wanted! Limited screen time, smiling faces, 20 minutes from Fredericksburg, 7 minutes from Garrison Brothers, etc. Perfect location!!

Was immaculately clean! Had lots of room. The bed was so comfy & you could sit on the porch & listen to great music from the Albert dance hall. Was quiet inside so we rested well & got to enjoy all of hwy 290’s businesses. When you stay in the middle of Fredericksburg you forget or don’t realize how many other great wineries, distilleries & farmers markets there are up & down 290 from Fredericksburg almost all the way to Johnson City! This is located next door to a larger house that if we come back with a bigger group we will try & rent both units!

This is a great home base for exploring the hill country! Being able to walk across the street to Albert Hall is wonderful but it’s also only a short drive from Fredericksburg, Johnson City, Luckenbach and more. The cabin was just as described and had everything we needed for a simple weekend getaway. Communication was great and the check in/out process simple. The door lock is a bit tricky but it’s the only improvement I would suggest. We will definitely be checking this cabin’s availability for our next trip.

Nicely decorated, great location for exploring the hill country and the unexpected luxury of a roomy shower with two showerheads. The Albert Dance Hall across the street was a great place for a cold beer and some music at the end of the day. We do normally pick Airbnb over a hotel so we can cook a meal or two. You could theoretically cook here. There is no stove or microwave but does have a hot plate and an electric skillet. There is a grill also but no grill tools.
Your feedback is well received, dear Kim. We definitely want you to feel 100% satisfied with everything and we will always work hard for it. So sorry if you saw that utensils were missing from the grill. Thank you for letting us know all that you loved about this gorgeous cabin and how much you enjoyed some delicious cold beers at the end of the day. We can imagine how great those nights were.
