Likewise in the Albert Cabin, sit on the comfortable Adirondack chairs out on the grand, L-shaped deck and enjoy a glass of wine or spirits. Optimally located, this quaint, Haus-Cabin combo sits directly across the street from the famous Albert Ice House and historic Albert Dance Hall! Music and dancing await!
The Albert was purchased in December of 2018 and lovingly remodeled inside and out. Its decor, attention to detail, and amenities are second to none. Additionally, The Albert’s kitchen appliances are all top of the line, and certain to be much appreciated by self-proclaimed chefs and foodies alike! As one would expect, this kitchen comes stocked with a full complement of plate ware, flatware, serving platters, glassware, wine glasses, and many other little necessities for those wishing to dine in.
The adorable Albert Cabin was once a hunting cabin from a time gone by. With romance in mind, it was creatively reimagined and restored as a charming venue for couples who are looking for a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. Although the Albert Cabin’s design is fashioned towards ambiance, its artsy kitchenette and outdoor grill allow couples to easily prepare a romantic meal and its private wrap-around deck afford guests the type of pastoral views that famous paintings are made from!
The Albert Cabin is complemented with a refrigerator, large industrial sink, cutting surface, coffee maker, two-burner hot plate, toaster, multiple basic kitchen utensils, along with a generous array of glassware, dishes, and cutlery. It is sure to delight its most discerning guests, with no expense being spared in terms of decor and attention to detail. Relax indoors on the incomparable California King bed or lounge in the sitting area on sumptuous leather chairs. When the evening calls, sit in the comfortable Adirondack chairs out on the grand, L-shaped deck. Listen to the music drift over from the Albert Icehouse and Dancehall as you enjoy your favorite beverage.
The town of Albert is surrounded on three sides by farmland, yet situated conveniently on the main road for easy access to nearby attractions. Narrow Path is our nearest winery, with expansive views of the Texas Hill Country and a gorgeous indoor/outdoor space to relax in. Also, close by in Hye, Texas, William Chris' award-winning wines are sure to delight and certainly deserve a spot on your weekend’s bucket list!
If you tire of wine, pop into Garrison Brother's Distillery for a bourbon flight or attend one of their special events. If you're a history buff make your way to Lyndon B. Johnson State Park, historic Johnson City, or the Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg.
At the end of the night, when bedtime beckons, each of The Albert Combo's bedrooms offer hotel-quality luxurious bedding and the latest in mattress technology, that provides an exceptionally recuperative night of sleep. We are following all of the CDC guidelines, and we are proud members of the Texas Hotel and Lodging Association and the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA), where we are closely monitoring and following all of their guidance for cleanliness and guest safety precautions. *In lieu of a damage security deposit, where most companies charge over $500, and where you as the guest risk these companies not returning your damage deposit, Cozi does it differently by charging a one-time non-refundable $49 fee which provides up to $5000 of coverage towards unintentional rental property damages (subject to plan terms and conditions) that could occur during you and your guests stay. Plan terms and conditions will be provided to all guest reservations after the time of booking. Any charges owed by Guest may be charged by Cozi to Guest’s card on file in addition to seeking any relief provided by law.
