Early Friday morning, July 4th, deadly flash floods ripped through Kerr Country in response from heavy rainfall that began on Thursday. Our hearts, prayers, and deepest condolences go out to everyone impacted by the devastating floods in Texas Hill Country over Independence Day Weekend.
We especially want to lift up the families of the girls still missing from Camp Mystic, and anyone else still unaccounted for. This has been a heartbreaking and life-altering event for our region, and we humbly ask that you keep these families and our entire community in your thoughts and prayers.
How You Can Help the Recovery Efforts
For those looking to support the relief efforts, the Kerr County Community Foundation has established a trusted fund to assist those affected by the floods. If you are in a position to help, we encourage you to donate.
Our community has united for search and rescue missions and cleaning up the havoc these floods have caused to so many locals’ lives. Any support possible will help Kerr County get back on its feet with rebuilding initiatives and on preventative measures for future events.
Your support is deeply appreciated by everyone here in Hill Country.
Your Stay with Cozi Vacation Rentals

We are thankful to report that Fredericksburg and all other Hill Country Markets we manage were spared from the worst of the flooding seen in Llano, Kerrville, and areas near the San Saba and San Gabriel Rivers.
While we experienced significant rainfall and temporary flash flooding, none of our properties were in the heavily affected flood zones.
We have been able to offer some of our properties for displaced camp counselors, first responders, and others in urgent need. Several of our homes are currently housing these individuals.
We also want to personally recognize our team for their incredible work during this storm. Their safety was our top priority, but despite the challenges, they showed up every step of the way—protecting properties, supporting guests, and responding swiftly to a dynamic and difficult situation. If you cross paths with any of our maintenance or operations team members, I hope you’ll take a moment to thank them.
Next week, our Cozi team will be sending out a group of volunteers to help clean up the camps that were hit the hardest.
Our team is committed to ensuring the safety of our guests, the protection of the homes we manage, and to support our community any way possible. You can rest assured that if you have a stay booked with us soon, the home you rented is in optimal condition and ready to welcome you with open arms.
For any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly about your booking.
