Come stay at the TxStar Haus, a charming farmhouse in the historic district, just 4 blocks from the center of town and the Marktplatz. The home, built in the 1940s, has been completely remodeled with new furniture, fresh paint, refinished hardwood floors, and an updated bathroom. It has a sizeable, fully stocked kitchen with all new appliances. The home has TVs in the living room and bedrooms. Sleeps 4 people comfortably, but can sleep 6 with a sleeper sofa.

The large backyard deck offers a great place to relax while watching birds and deer in the morning or evening after a day of shopping in town or touring the many wineries and breweries in the area. A new game room out back welcomes you to some foosball or your choice of board games while watching your favorite TV show or movie. There are also outdoor games to enjoy: corn hole, bocce ball, and croquet. Additionally, there are open areas on the property to enjoy picnics in the shade, see the stars at night. Easy Check-In Process
We use Happy Guest for a seamless, app-free check-in experience. Just complete your rental agreement, ID verification, and a simple refundable security hold of $1,000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction) to receive your arrival instructions. If you'd prefer, you can opt for a Non-Refundable Damage Waiver instead, which provides coverage up to $1,500. The waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.50 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. It’s simple: finish these steps, and you’re all set to enjoy your stay! This was the perfect location to explore Fredericksburg! The house was roomy and comfortable. We especially appreciated the privacy of the spacious deck out back behind the house. We enjoyed peaceful walks in the neighborhood and how walkable the location is to Main Street. The pecans falling from the trees surrounding the house were an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again our next time in Fredericksburg!

Our stay at the TxStar Haus was amazing. The location was perfect. It was in a quiet neighborhood that was an easy walk to Main Street. Location of the home was perfect, close enough to walk to Main Street get enough space to provide privacy and feel like a cozy getaway. That was our favorite part about the home. We enjoyed the seating areas on the back porch in the morning and evening. Kitchen was functional and had everything you could need. The home was built in the 1930s, so the floors are creaky and the walls are thin which is to be expected.

We had such a great stay! The Airbnb looks just like the photos and is very clean. The location is PERFECT, we were able to walk to Main Street for coffee and a bite to eat. Great place to stay. Very quiet, safe and clean. We enjoyed seeing deer in the adjacent field. Good location…easy walking distance to Main Street. 2 minute drive to HEB. This house was the perfect place to stay for four long time girlfriends while visiting Fredericksburg. We felt right at home the moment we walked in the door. The décor was nicely done and the home very clean. We enjoyed the glow of the moon while dining on the deck in the evening and the crisp Fall air while enjoying breakfast in the morning. The kitchen was well stocked allowing us to cook and dine in the cute dining room. We were just a few blocks from downtown so we never had to worry about finding a parking place! A BIG PLUS! The hosts are very easy to work with and quick to respond.
We plan on making this an annual event and will most definitely be rebooking in the future!!

This is the place! Location, location, location. Walking distance to town, church and restaurants. HEB and vineyards in close proximity. Would definitely stay again. So Clean, simple check in. One bathroom that is large and every one can leave their toiletries in the bathroom which simplifies the shower sessions. Game room out back. Home well appointed with EVERYTHING! Just bring your toothbrush!

Very clean place, updated cute little house! The house was a perfect size for our family and it had all the amenities to make it a comfortable stay. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked a lot more than normal air BNBs I have stayed at in Fburg. It was also easy to check out!

We really loved our stay and the property. The house is really cute on a very nice street of homes. The back deck is perfect for hanging out--it feels private and has a nice view of an open field next door. The place is an easy walk to town. Kitchen was cute, spacious, and well-equipped. I had a wonderful stay at this rental! The adorable rental had plenty of space, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and was exceptionally clean! The house was clean, nicely decorated, offered coffee and snacks, and has a lovely deck area. The area was quiet and though we did hear music from town faintly, it was minimal and caused no disruption at all. The proximity to shops and restaurants was excellent - close enough for convenience, but not so close that it was not a peaceful place to stay. We enjoyed it very much!
