Welcome to Wine Trail Getaway! This home and guesthouse combo is ideal for families and small groups, and comes complete with games for all ages, including ping pong and cornhole! The large, well-shaded yard has mature pecan trees in front and back, a gas grill, and a patio with a gas fire pit. Located in the charming town of Stonewall, just 15 minutes from Fredericksburg, it sits in the HEART of Texas Hill Wine Country, close to Becker Vineyards, Pedernales Cellars, and Grape Creek Vineyards! This area is known for star-gazing skies!

Situated on over 2.5 acres, this spacious combo unit is just off the 290 Wine Trail. The main house was completely remodeled in 2021 and offers a large kitchen with marble countertops, 2 dining areas, 3 traditional bedrooms, and a trundle daybed in the Gameroom with doors for full privacy as a bedroom. The farmhouse theme inside matches the cows that may wander up to the back fence or the neighboring chickens. The guesthouse is a cozy, studio-size space, and includes a king-size bed, a full bathroom, a dining space, and a kitchenette outfitted with a mini-frig, microwave oven, and a coffee maker. Outside the front door is also an inviting courtyard/sitting area that’s a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or an adult beverage in the evening!

At the end of the day when the air cools a bit, saunter out to the backyard with your friends or loved ones and enjoy the inviting fire pit with your favorite glass of jammy wine, or fire up the BBQ grill and prepare a deliciously memorable meal!

When bedtime beckons, each of the relaxing beds cradle you in their luxurious bedding, providing you an exceptionally recuperative night of sleep. Lay your head back and let yourself drift off to sleep, in preparation for yet another great day in Texas Wine Country!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Cozy Combo. We were very comfortable and there is a lot a space to spread out. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, pots, plates, even a grill etc. to make meals to enjoy our time together. All our questions and concerns were answered promptly. Although they acknowledged the report in a timely manner, we weren't able to get a replacement item delivered that was broken in time before our checkout. Everyone in our 3 generations that stayed in the home was really pleased! We would definitely book again. Thanks for everything!

Great place! Plenty of space. Checking in was not smooth. Address given was a different location. Check in instructions were not sent. The communication was great! Had to ask for code to go into house.

The Cozy Combo was spacious and clean with modern updates and amenities, making it a great space for our family gathering. Loved having access to both the main house and guest house, all of which accommodated everyone comfortably. The fire pit was a favorite! Nice touches included yard games, extra blankets, ping pong table, board games, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was perfect for our stay! It is a beautiful spacious home. We had a great time! This would be a perfect home to stay in and visit Fredericksburg. It’s not too far and quaint and private.

It was a wonderful, tranquil space to spend time with my extended family after my daughter’s wedding.
The floor plan, the design, and the guest house allowed for lots of together time but also provided enough space for individual reflection. We appreciated the spacious rooms and simple décor. There was abundant natural light but the window coverings also allowed for some extra sleep on a few mornings.
 
We enjoyed seeing the stars at night, coffee on the patio, reading time on the porch, and walks revealing the beautiful vistas of the hill country.
 
We visited the LBJ Ranch and the Pioneer Museum and followed the Country Schools driving tour. The local pecans, peaches and peach ice cream were a perfect summer treat!
 
And WOW! There are so many good restaurants in the area besides the 130 wineries! We especially enjoyed the food and beer at Altstadt Brewery.  The service and food at the Sage Restaurant were exceptional!
