This was our first time to Fredericksburg’s and I truly believe this Airbnb was perfect for what we wanted. The space was bigger than I had expected and was perfect for my mom and I . Here’s a breakdown!

- Considering it was our first time I had reached out to the cozi team and they responded with great recommendations.

- The space was clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed to add to our stay. The bnb was about 10-12 minutes from town. I will say going towards the town always feels faster than coming from the town but nonetheless the perfect amount of commute for us. Also the views that this place came with is amazing ! Beautiful sunsets!!

- Anytime we had any questions the cozi team would get back to us very quickly and resolved any “issues” we had.

Overall we loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to explore fredericksburg.

D’Vine Cottage was exactly as described! Beautiful views during the day, gorgeous stargazing at night. Only 15 minutes from Main St. for shopping in Fredericksburg. Nice, clean room and bathroom; both were very spacious! The fireplace was a lovely touch.

This is a little hidden gem! The pictures do not do it justice. The place is 10 mins from Fredericksburg, yet just far away enough for a secluded and peaceful stay. It was immaculately clean and the hosts were friendly and responsive. Perfect little romantic getaway. We definitely will be back.

This was the perfect little getaway for my husband and I. It was close enough to town with a short drive, but far enough to feel secluded and peaceful. Place was as listed and great size for a couple getaway. The furniture was comfortable and we loved the fireplace. Like other reviews, take a griddle or something to cook with as there is only a microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and mini fridge. We would definitely stay again!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Matt and Jenna's place in Fredericksburg. The jetted tub was so relaxing and the fireplace kept us warm as the temperature dropped at night. It was definitely like being at a spa. The separate shower in addition to the spa tub is a nice bonus. Hot water was plentiful, which can sometimes be an issue when staying at other places. The fluffy towels were luxurious and the bath products were also appreciated.

I really prefer a full kitchen setup, but we survived just fine with the mini fridge, microwave, and gas grill. I was able to whip up pancakes and eggs on the electric griddle I brought from home. The place is stocked with dinnerware, flatware, and utensils, which was nice.

The location is secluded and peaceful and has a great hilltop view, but is close to downtown...we drove it in just ten minutes. We even saw deer through the back window on one morning of our stay.

We love this place and would definitely recommend it and stay again.

This casita was amazing! The pics don't do it justice. My wife and I needed some R&R and D'vine was perfect. The setting on a hill made for great evenings looking at the stars. It is 15 minutes to Fred. and to Enchanted Rock. The bubbling soaking tub and walk in shower made for a spa-like experience. Our host, Cozi, was responsive and communicated well. This is a lovely cottage in a peaceful setting. The rural setting is quiet and tranquil. Private porch views make for a good morning coffee. The amenities were great and loved the style of the rooms. The bed was so comfortable it provided great night sleeps. The internet worked great for streaming on the smart tv. The drive to town is 8 miles or so on a nice road and it wasn't too far at all. Cozi responded to communication instantly and so politely and were quick to deliver requested supplies. We already want to come back.

Nice B&B located nicely between Enchanted Rock and Fredericksburg. Nice Bathroom and good sized bedroom/main room. Bed and pillows could be a little softer/supportive, personally. Only a microwave for inside cooking, but there is a shared outdoor grill between the 3 B&Bs (although this can’t be used during fire bans). Personal A/C and heater and fireplace make for a cozy getaway for a couple. Mini Fridge is a good size for a weekend trip. Overall price is personally a little much for what it is, but still a nice place to spend time away from work.

Beautiful cottage 10-15 minutes outside of Fredericksburg. It is about 10 yards from 2 other cabins, but we never saw the other guests. Feels like your own home, especially with the back patio area

Quick Weekday Getaway

We had a very enjoyable stay. After visiting some wineries and downtown FBG, we made our way to the property and found it just as the pictures show. Five deer where grazing out the back door when we arrived. We had dinner at the Hilltop, just minutes away and then came back to sit on the back porch and enjoy the star gazing. What a beautiful place!! The views were so nice. We enjoyed sitting out under the covered patio one evening with a cool breeze. The inside was spotless and everything new! Love king sized beds when we stay in places. This had one. Just a very lovely place. It is over 10 miles out of town but that didn’t phase us one bit. You don’t get those views in town.

This place made for a perfect weekend getaway. It’s on top of a hill with beautiful views. Location was great being only 10 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg but you still feel like you are out in the country. The bed was very comfortable. It was clean and well decorated. Super cozy and cute. Decent sized mini fridge. We brought beverages and meat and cheeses. We enjoyed coffee (they have a keurig, FYI) on the front porch in the morning and wine and charcuterie on the back porch in the evening. It was truly relaxing and gorgeous. This will be our go to spot anytime we visit Fredericksburg! Our only critique was that they did not have a good spot to work remotely. Bring an extension cord and/or 3 plug adapters if you plan to work remotely.

This place blew our expectations out of the water!! Absolutely gorgeous cottage with incredible views of the surrounding area. I will definitely be back and recommend to friends. The bed was super comfy. Luxury bathroom with beautiful views outside from the shower window. Tons of natural light. Plenty of privacy. Oh and there were TONS of monarchs there. Like hundreds! So beautiful

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay in this cottage last week. We were beyond happy with how clean, up to date and peaceful it was. It has a great location with only a 10-15 minute drive to Main Street in Fredericksburg. There you can find many cool little shops and restaurants, as well as all the great wineries in the area. We would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend this place for anyone who is considering staying here.

Quiet and relaxing nature get away!

My stay at the Divine cottage was pretty awesome! Close enough to town proximately 7 miles, but far enough out of town for privacy. I loved connecting with nature. Set out on the back patio in the mornings and the evenings enjoying seeing deer,bunny rabbits, butterflies, hummingbirds, Finches, Cardinals. Spent my days in town shopping, enjoying all the variety of places to eat. Connected with family they even wanted to rent this place in the future they enjoyed sitting outside as well. My good friend joined me for a night, If you’re not afraid of the dark you can s t a r g a z e! The cottage has everything you could need… A very comfortable bed, Wi-Fi, Roku television, kitchenette microwave small refrigerator and freezer. There’s an amazing grill area although I never did use it.... didn’t really want to cook on my vacation. I stayed for five nights, and the only thing that would’ve made it better was to stay another five nights! Oh and by the way the jetted bathtub was amazing! One thing that helped me a lot was the printed guide about how to use everything in the cottage from locking the door to how to use the shower handle… I’m a little challenged when it comes to technology. Great for couples, singles, family get together‘s, you can rent all three cottages if you wanted to have a family reunion. Sun sets are amazing!

My wife and I wanted a convenient get-away last minute to Fredricksburg and to our delight the D'Vine location was available. The property is conveniently located about 10-12 min from Main St. in Downtown. The cabin is one of 3 total that surrounds a custom fountain. The spacing between the cabins is just right for privacy. When we entered the cabin, we instantly felt like it was an upscale interior with the cleanliness, colors, and decor. The little fridge was stocked with a cheese platter too. The outdoor backyard patio had a propane grill that was perfect for a late-night dinner. The owner was very prompt in communication and made everything very easy to find. Overall, highly recommend this location and will let our friends know and we look forward to another stay.

Perfect location and cottage size for a couple of days away from chaos. 5 star hotel in a cabin or cottage was what we were looking for a we got it. Mrs. Susan’s communication was prompt and attentive. Just bring foods that can be microwaved and you are set (if you don’t want to drive 7-8 miles into town for every meal).

We loved this cottage as a get away. We did not have any other guest but there are 3 cottages right next to each other. It is in a great area less then 10 minutes from Main street but yet remote and quite. Room was clean and ready to go. Susan was easy to get a hold of if you needed anything with a fast response time. The night is calm and you can see the stars perfect to look at. Finding the entrance can be difficult at night as it is a dark road so wish the was a small light to get off the main road but still easy to get to. I would recommend this to others and will plan to stay here again next time we visit.

Where do I start on this perfect cottage?! Pictures do not do this property justice. The cabin is VERY nice, clean and comfy. This was our 4th visit to Cherry Mountain Cottages. Susan and Steve are excellent hosts and are very responsive. The cottages are far enough out to enjoy starry skies but a close 10 minute drive to Fredericksburg. As always the cottage was impeccably clean, equipped with very nice linens and bath accessories. We were there in the fall while the Monarch butterflies were migrating. It was like a Disney film walking through them. We won’t stay anywhere else in Fredericksburg.

I was very impressed with how great the cottage was. The pictures you see are exactly what it looks like. Very easy to get to, close to town and a great host.

Susan is very well prepared, and we loved the plate of cheese, crackers and grapes. Everything from soap to extra iPhone chargers are provided. My wife and I were very impressed with how everything was thought of.

D’vine cottage is one of three cottages but is on a private property that you will get access through a number pad gate. If you’re looking for a private weekend get away from the city, this is the place. The city is close by but once you’re at the cottage, you’ll want to stay in. Take some burger patties make some burgers.

Trust me you will not regret it. Thanks again Susan for a wonderful little cottage, we will be returning.

We could not think of a better place to go than the D'Vine Cottage outside of Fredricksburg. The D'Vine Cottage was divine! Very comfortable and the views were AMAZING! It's about a 10 min drive outside of downtown Fredericksburg but we had the best of both worlds--close enough to enjoy the wineries and the town yet loved being away from "reality" when at the cottage, sitting on the patio drinking coffee/wine while enjoying view of the green pastures! Stayed the weekend with my husband to celebrate our 22nd Anniversary! Beautiful, clean, peaceful! Has everything you will need! Upon arrival there was an Anniversary Card signed by the owners, some chocolates and a cheese tray in the fridge! We will make this our Anniversary getaway for years to come! Already planning a return trip in about 6 months! Close to shopping and restaurants!

My husband and I have been coming to Cherry Mountain cottages for a couple of years now. The accommodations are always perfect, the layout of the Cottages give you privacy and the beds are so comfortable.

Most importantly, the owners Steve and Susan comma are absolutely delightful and take pride and what they do. They are a great example on how to serve others.

This is our go-to place in Fredericksburg, you won't be disappointed!

Spa in the hills

This was such a wonderful getaway. We were in Fredericksburg to run the Outlaw Half Marathon, and Cherry Mountain Cottage was the perfect place to relax and recover. Everything about the cottage oozed 'comfort'. From the cottage finish out, colors and design, to the bed, sheets, pillows, towels and bathrobes - this was a spa like experience. The hilltop has great views, the property honors wildlife and environment, and it all serves as a perfect oasis and break from city life. Will definitely be coming back.

The pictures on the website are exactly how the place looks. I love how all the questions about the property were in the book in the room. So, if you can't figure out how to lock the door, read the book. A "yummy" cheese tray was in the refrigerator along with crackers. The fireplace was awesome and the best part. It kept the room warm enough we didn't need the heat on. FYI - bring your own bath soap. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Thank you!

I just want to note for future guests that we do provide hotel size - locally sourced lavender bar soap, shampoo/conditioner and lotion. In addition, we provide shower gel (generally a couple different scents) and their are also bath salts for the air tub and make up wipes.

This is the only place my wife and I like to stay in Fredricksburg, after staying at many places in town this has everything you need. The owners are delightful and always accommodating, and the cabins are well equipped with a luxurious feel in a peaceful setting along the hill country! Just a short drive into town and over to Enchanted Rock!

The location is just minutes from town. The views are great. The linens, towels, and bed are all very nice and comfortable. The owners were are friendly and helpful as they could be. One note is that it can be much cooler on the hill than in town so be sure to plan accordingly because you'll want to sit on your porch or take a walk to take in the views.

Cherry Mountain Cottages was the perfect location for my weekend trip. I stayed in the D'Vine Cottage. I loved the fact that the cottages are located on a quiet hilltop several miles away from the busy, crowded atmosphere of downtown Fredericksburg.

The mini-kitchen, complete with small refrigerator/freezer, microwave and sink, made it possible for me to eat most of my meals at the cottage. Wooden TV trays were provided in the main room. The trash receptacle was lidded, and it opened with a foot pedal, making disposal clean and odorless. The cottage stayed nice and cool despite the 100°F temperatures outside. The spacious bathroom offered a choice of air tub or walk-in shower. The toilet was privately located in a small adjacent room with a door. There were plenty of towels available. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean and looked brand new!

The shared yard space was a wildflower meadow. The pathways were lit with solar-powered lights at ground level, but a flashlight might come in handy if you plan to come and go after dark. This is a great place to sit out on the patio at night and watch the stars. Drivers on Cherry Mountain Loop share the road with cattle, sheep, goats and deer. They all stayed out in the pastures while I was there, but slowing down on the Loop keeps everyone safe and happy. There are no keys or cards to keep up with since the gates and doors are all operated using punch-in codes. This is another area where a small flashlight might come in handy.

Susan was amazing to work with! Great communicator ... generous in every way ... and very professional! I definitely plan to stay here again the next time I'm in Fredericksburg. Thank you so much!

The cabin and location are perfect for a quite relaxing get away. Quick 5 minute drive to Fredericksburg for some shopping and a 10 - 15 minute drive to Enchanted Rock.

The inside of the cabin was beautiful, clean, and well kept. It had everything you could possibly need. We will be coming back for a future stay.

Awesome Romantic Getaway

This was an awesome place to stay for a romantic getaway or with friends. The house is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and everything you need for your stay is provided. When we visited, the wildflowers were in bloom and the front of the cottage sits surrounded by the flowers. In the evening the stars are fantastic! The cottages are located close enough to enjoy all that the surrounding towns offer while still being far enough away from crowds and noise so you can just enjoy a truly peaceful time together. We had a wonderful time and could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay for our trip to Fredericksburg. If it were possible I would give more than 5 stars. Thanks Susan!

Highly recommended. Cherry Mountain is the perfect retreat for a Hill Country experience; convenient to the shopping and attractions of Fredricksburg but in a pastoral setting just far enough away from the crowds. Cherry Mountain Cottages is our go to place to stay when coming to Fredericksburg. We love being close to town, but just far enough away to enjoy the Hill Country sky at night.

Susan and Steve are thoughtful and kind owners who take pride in what they do. My husband and I are thrilled to know them and look forward to each visit.

We celebrated our anniversary on this trip and we were so surprised to see an anniversary card, delicious chocolates and an incredible cheese tray in our cottage. Going the extra mile is what this place is about and we appreciate the small things like this that make a huge impact.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here for our 10th anniversary. The location is beautiful and serene, and the cottages are very clean and like new. The owners were hospitable from afar, welcoming us with an anniversary card, chocolates, and a cheese/fruit tray with crackers. It was only an 8-10 minute drive to Fredericksburg's main drag--convenient while still allowing space from the traffic and tourists. We will definitely be returning!

Close to Fredericksburg for touring the town, Enchanted Rock, and the wineries. Then retreat to the cozy cabin for a quite romantic evening. My husband and I spent a relaxing 3 day weekend at D' Vine Cottage celebrating our 30th anniversary. We wished we had the time to stay longer. We will definitely return. The cottage was perfect. It was very well-appointed. The spa-like bathroom was awesome-plenty of towels for our entire stay. The little mini-kitchen had everything we needed to throw some steaks on the grill and enjoy a quiet dinner together our last evening there. The owner's think of everything. We were welcomed with a cheese/grape tray and an anniversary card/chocolates which was really appreciated since we arrived later than anticipated and were able to have a nice little snack upon our arrival. The location is really quiet and peaceful. There were two other cottages nearby, but we never heard or saw the other guests during our stay. The owners have done an excellent job of keeping the property true to the natural beauty of the area. It was a nice little retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city! It was only a short drive into Fredericksburg and the Enchanted Rock.

Perfect Hill Country Retreat

I would agree with all previous 5 star reviews. D'vine cottage offered everything I was looking for: seclusion and comfort in what I consider to be the most beautiful area of the Texas Hill Country. Save your airfare to Tuscany - this is just as good and the natives speak english. The owners exceeded our expectations with great attention to detail and provided great communication prior to trip (no GPS required). In fact, no detail was overlooked. I think the owners must have previous experience as hotel executives. However, you should be aware of three things. First, this is really a retreat destination for individuals or couples. Leave the kids at home. Second, although beautiful and well concieved the kitchen "area" offers little more than what you might find in a luxury hotel suite (mid sized refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink, counter area with Keurig coffee maker + capsules, essential glass ware/dishes/utensils, and gas grill on the outside patio). Third, the only table for eating is outside on the patio. So, your attention should be on things other than food preparation - use your imagination. Thanks Susan. I'll be back

The D'Vine Cottage is a perfect getaway for a couple who want some R&R and quiet time together. The setting is modern, very practical and very comfortable. It's convenient located and you are only 10 mins from Fredericksburg and 20 mins from Enchanted Rock state park. When we stayed it was surrounded by wild flowers which was extremely beautiful. This was the perfect getaway cottage for a weekend in Fredericksburg with my boyfriend. The Owners have done a wonderful job in thinking of everything you would need when staying here. There are three cottages (we stayed in the D'Vine cottage), each equally as peaceful. We plan on coming back and renting all three cottages so that our friends can come with us! I wouldn't put more than two people in the cottage, but it was plenty big enough for the two of us. Can't say thank you enough to the Owners and would definitely recommend this place.

The cottage was so clean and quiet! I had a great birthday weekend ! The owners did a great job at making my birthday special by leaving a card! They had added touches in the room as well, with local soap and shampoo and conditioner. The cheese and grapes were also amazing after a day of wine tasting ! They have everything you need for the weekend from amazing soft towels, to robes, and a grill as well as dishes. I would recommend this cottage to anyone, super clean, and charming! Cozy Home-Away-From-Home

My boyfriend and I stayed in the D'Vine Cottage and it was amazing! The pictures don't do this place justice. Not only were the cottages, a home-away-from-home, but the owners thought of everything - text message with directions the day before, a cheese board with crackers welcoming us, the porch light on, terry bath robes and the Fig shampoo and body lotion. It's so quiet here, even with the other two cottages rented out, we never heard anyone. For those of you who are cyclists, you have endless roads right out the front door. We did a 34 mile ride and only saw about 6 cars the entire time. I highly recommend Cherry Mountain Cottages for a romantic getaway or girl's/guy's trip.

Had an amazing time staying at cherry mountain. My fiancee and I stayed in the Devine cabin and it was great. Very clean and the bed was heaven. I recommend cherry mountain cabins to everyone. Very secluded and extremely quiet. All three cabins have a very beautiful view in the mornings of the valley below.

We were the first guests to stay at the cottage last weekend, and we absolutely loved it!! As frequent vrbo-stayers and property-listers ourselves, we highly recommend this place. It's very safe and secluded. It's great for a romantic getaway or to have friends or family rent out the other two cottages for a group getaway. Other guests stayed in The Nest next door, but we didn't even see them the whole weekend. It's very quiet and peaceful.

The cottage looks exactly as depicted in the pictures. The bed is large and comfy and the bathroom is spacious. The owners left us a cheese and fruit plate (Thanks!! :)) There were plenty of towels, tp, dishes, and BBQ utensils. There's a Keurig with different coffee varieties also. We brought our two dogs and let them run around outside in the morning and afternoon (careful though, there are stickers and cactus!). The back porch is nice. Wish we would have had time to try out the pit! We tried out the fireplace and the jacuzzi though- both were great.

For the property owners, I recommend getting some lighting in the driveway area, as it's pitch black coming in late. Also, there were no linens for the fold out twin bed (there was an extra pillow but we didn't see sheets or an extra blanket; a throw would be nice). The back porch light was out also. I would also suggest starting a small stockpile of toiletry items "just in case" guests forget things, as the closest pharmacy we found was about 15 minutes away- nothing big, just small things (I left some things below the bathroom sink for future guests). Again, this is just a recommendation, but it sure is nice when you forget something or need an aspirin at 8am and you realize the owners left some in a drawer (score!).

We have already recommended this property to our friends, and we will definitely be back in the future.
