Luxury 23-ac Ranch Casita w/Hot tub!
Welcome to Merritt's Ridge, a private and luxuriously picturesque 1-bedroom, 1-bath cabin on a 23-acre estate near downtown Fredericksburg and Luckenbach, and located less than 1 mile from Alamo Springs Burger Cafe and Old Tunnel State Park! There is nothing better than relaxing with friends and family at this beautiful property while listening to the birds sing and watching the sunset over the horizon while sitting in the hot tub drinking your favorite beverage!
When the final yellows, oranges, and reds of the sunset have faded, you will have a decision to make. Do you hit Historic Downtown Fredericksburg for some fun and winery hopping, or do you hit Luckenbach and enjoy the live music and dancing? Or, do you choose to sit around the fire pit with a glass of wine, or settle into the hot tub while you watch ten thousand stars wake up one by one? On the other hand, why limit yourself? Our suggestion is to do them all, over the course of your stay!
-Parking: Only park in driveway. Do NOT park in grass.
*Wood for firepit is not provided.
Easy Check-In Process
We use Happy Guest for a seamless, app-free check-in experience. Just complete your rental agreement, ID verification, and a simple refundable security hold of $1,000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction) to receive your arrival instructions. If you'd prefer, you can opt for a Non-Refundable Damage Waiver instead, which provides coverage up to $1,500. The waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.50 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. It’s simple: finish these steps, and you’re all set to enjoy your stay! Note: arrival info won’t be sent without completing these steps, and refunds aren’t possible if skipped. Happy Guest is web-based and user-friendly, with all the info about the house and local spots. The little ridge cabin was beautiful, and the setting on the hillside was absolutely gorgeous . The cabin was very clean and decorated perfectly for the rustic setting. The bed was the most comfortable of all our bnb stays over the years. The only downside was that the bathroom was downstairs, but it wasn't a major inconvenience. The kitchen was small but functional for fixing small meals. We enjoyed the hottub and the fire pit each night as well as the fireplace. Overall, it is a great place to stay and relax outside of the hustle and bustle of Fredericksburg but still close enough to be in town in about 20 minutes

This place is just wonderful! We went for my boyfriends birthday and just loved this cabin like home! It’s very peaceful since it’s about 15 minutes outside of town. Very good furnishings and style. And by far one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! We will definitely go back to this house for future Fredericksburg vacations!

The place was beautiful! The home was very clean and had all amenities we needed and wanted. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening and having coffee on the porch swing in the morning. The listing does make it sound like it’s a completely private, separate cabin and space from the other rental home on the property, however, the other home on the property was maybe 30 yards from our cabin. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed how the cabin was remote with a beautiful scenic drive to town where we counted 300 plus deer over the week. It’s a 25-30 min drive from downtown but it really doesn’t seem that long! We were both so sad to leave and will definitely be back in the future!

Rustic Beauty

The rustic beauty of this newly built cabin has to be seen to be understood. The sunsets from the shared deck were beautiful! And the deck is lit up at night as well as the surrounding trees. It overlooks a wooded box canyon and we saw several deer. The shower was great with a LOT of water pressure. The furniture was comfortable and the lighting was creative and beautiful. We very much enjoyed our stay there. If you want to get away from town and out into the country, this is a great place. There is one other rental house on the property, but the week we were there we had the whole place to ourselves. If you stay here, the best burgers in Texas are two miles away at the Alamo Springs Cafe. It\'s a must do!
