Welcome to Der Fels, Riesling Suite! The Riesling is a luxury, studio-size space, with a tranquil, electric fireplace, and an inviting courtyard and hot tub, that’s located in the “heart” of Fredericksburg's famous 290 Winery Corridor! Fredericksburg is widely regarded as one of the top ten winery destinations in the world, and there is no better vantage point for exploring all of them than while staying at the completely private cottages of Der Fels!
The Riesling is a luxury suite in the heart of wine country and is close to the famous Wildseed Farms, and wineries such as Messina Hof, Mendelbaum, and Grape Creek. It’s even close to Luckenbach!
Being a newly constructed limestone cottage with all the comforts of home, this charming suite offers everything today's traveler wants, in a private setting. Enjoy the private hot tub to yourselves in a fully fenced courtyard. Or, step back inside to enjoy the large whirlpool tub or rain-head shower in the bath! Additionally, the Riesling Suite is outfitted with a king-size bed dressed in beautiful linens, and a spacious sitting area to set the mood! Make the Riesling your own private outpost in the Hill Country, and we’ll see y’all again soon!

**This unit is not equipped with a fully outfitted kitchen. Please plan accordingly.
Great news for pet lovers! This property is pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along for the adventure. We want everyone to enjoy their stay, including your four-legged family member. To ensure a paw-sitive experience please be aware of the following:

We're delighted to welcome furry friends! This property is pet-friendly for dogs, unfortunately we can't accommodate cats at this time.
-Pet fee(s) will apply in addition to the nightly rate.
-This unit will allow one pet that is 20 lbs or under.
-Please keep your pups leashed outside and clean up after them.
-A separate pet waiver must be signed.

The Riesling Suite was a remarkable gem that we found while in the hill country visiting family. Its rustic exterior is transformed once you enter the gate. You feel like you are in your own little piece of heaven. Updated amenities, a great bed, and all the accouterments you would need in a 5 star accommodation. Extremely clean bathroom that is always a plus, with a garden size (similar) tub for when you end your day from lounging in the awesome hot tub right outside on your porch. Everything is enclosed in a high fenced in area that has bistro lighting strung from the ceilings to the fence. The price is fantastic and beats any other hotels we’ve stayed at in Fredericksburg. My daughter and her friends are planning a trip there for a girls trip and they will definitely be choosing these suites. A special thanks to the owners for really putting in the effort with these suites. They used high quality materials when putting their vision from paper to a magical little reprieve.

We enjoyed our stay, we felt as though we were by ourselves out there with no one around. The hot tub was great. The only thing we would have changed is to have more hangers in the bathroom for towels and a rod in the closet to hang clothes.

Overall a great stay, I would recommend & I would stay there again. I do wish they had some lights near the entrance & outside of the house in the parking area. We got there after dark and it was very hard to see

We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub and courtyard was nice. There was some road noice while we were there, and like everyone else has said…the bed was in fact a little uncomfortable. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I loved our stay! The highlights are: (1) the patio with hot tub -we spent most of our time there; and (2) the communication and responsiveness of the property managers - they were always available and promptly responded.
The bed mattress sagged in the middle and that’s our only criticism. Other than that, our stay was perfect.
