Texas Charm: Texana: 15 min Walk to Main

We had an awesome weekend and the house was lovely. The theme of the overall house was so cute and it was up to par with cleanliness. It’s may be five minutes from the main town which is a perfect location. The extra amenities such as shampoo, towels, stocked morning coffee bar and even hot chocolate bar were the cherry on top! Would definitely recommend this Property to friends and family and will plan to stay here on our next trip.

I came to Fredericksburg with friends to celebrate my birthday. We had a wonderful time with great accommodations. The house it beautifully decorated, clean, safe, and was more than enough room for the four of us. It is located minutes from Main Street. This is definitely the perfect place to stay if you have a larger group of people.

Great place and Owner great to work with! Home is good size and convenient to Main st. Definitely would stay again.

This home has everything you can imagine! Lots of room. Fully stocked kitchen including full Keurig coffee service . Needs new couches.

The house was very fun with all the over-the-top Texas decor. There is always something new to look at! The house had everything we needed--I've never stayed anywhere with so many everyday items from laundry detergent to hot cocoa to bandaids! It was was great, I didn't have to go to the store and fill up on little essentials that I'd have to take back wit me. Beds were comfortable, outdoor space nice!

I can’t say enough great things about this rental house experience. I could tell immediately how much thought was put into not only cleanliness, but the little touches around the house that bring it to the next level. Check-in and out were so easy and every question I had was answered almost immediately. The location was perfect also. A short walk to Main Street but far enough away to get the classic country quietness.
My only suggestion is to get better toilet paper for the bathrooms. No one needs or deserves the gift tissue material that was provided.

Great place to stay and close to town. Rooms are great and home has plenty of space. Nice touch with chairs and fire pit outside and bbq grill. We will definitely be back. Great stocked kitchen with coffee, creamer and hot chocolate. Christmas decorations were super nice.

The size of the house worked great for our party.. in-laws took master downstairs, my husband and I took the queen, and our soon slept in one of the two twin beds. Unfortunately, the queen bed made VERY loud noises with the slightest movement, so we did not sleep well. Additionally, the hot water for the tub lasted about 10 seconds so we were not able to bathe upstairs. I would recommend this house if a new mattress and box spring is provided in the queen bedroom and the hot water issue is resolved. It was very clean, had fun coffee and cocoa provided, and it is very close to downtown.

Overall we had a great experience at this rental! The western decor and Christmas decorations were enjoyed by all. It was well furnished with everything we needed and more. The hot chocolate bar was amazing. Only complaint was the squeaky bed upstairs. Kitchen faucet was also “wonky” for whatever reason.

Great little house for a weekend girl’s trip! Well decorated and clean with great amenities. Only a couple of issues... no shower upstairs, only bathtub (who ever really takes a bath in a rental bathtub?). And the steep angled driveway concrete pad scraped the bottom of my car really bad.

Very well kept! There were several amenities that would be considered bonuses that were very appreciated: wonderful soap and shower products provided, coffee add-ins and lavender lemonade were fun treats!

If you're looking for a couple things to improve: widening the driveway a bit would be nice and a little more room on tops of surfaces(dressers and tables) would be helpful. Decor was beautiful, but there were several items in places where we were trying to place our belongings for the weekend. 🙂

Texana is a beautiful home decorated in western art and cowboy paraphernalia in a peaceful neighborhood of Fredericksburg, TX. My two granddaughters (7 and 5) loved the western wrought iron beds, saddles, and the wall decor. The kitchen was stocked with spiced tea and hot chocolate mix and condiments which was a nice touch. It has a fireplace and also a fire pit for those cool nights that you want to sit out and view the stars. I would definitely stay here again.
